This movie does look interesting. But, if that body the dude w/ the gotee is holding is Rachael, I'm not sure I can stomach her dead. She really needs to be at the top of her game to convince me otherwise.

Aw, c'mon Wolverine, all actors have to have at least one good death scene on their resume. Look at the way Paul Ruebens pulled off his death scene in the film version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Rachael deserves to have one really good opportunity to act out a death scene. Just no bloody head shots. Those are so cliche.

I agree with you both...a death scene can be a good thing...while I usually enjoy said cliched headshots, and other forms of movie death, I might not want to see her die...even if it isn't real.

Well, Cassie was supposed to die in "The Bumblebee Flys Anyway".

ArchaicEchelon, I personally love a good headshot, especially if I'm the one punching the pixel's ticket at 300 simulated yards with a Barnett .50 sniper rifle. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over, being able to share a little peice of me with a simulated "tango." Delta Force: Land Warrior should have come out for the Macintosh system...
but I digress. When I wrote my opinion, I'd just come from viewing T3:ROTM. Great movie, equal to and worthy of being included in the Terminator series. I don't want Rachael to be in a movie where she meets a violent end. No death by hanging, shooting, or other such way to go for a character. One of the "disease of the week" type things would be too cliche. I'm not really sure of how I would like to see her go, but the way Val Kilmer was allowed to fade away when he portrayed Doc Holliday in Tombstone might be an adequate example. Now if she ended up doing a female version of American Psycho.... and ended up walking the Green Mile.... hmmmm.... Doreen Carter: You are so freaky! Jack Carter: Oh, well, we're all a little freaky, Doreen. It's the straight ones you've got to worry about. |
