Hello! I'd like you to see my last RLC drawing.
Notice that Rachael_VM1.jpg was retouched.
And Please give me your opinion.
Is it seemed her? Which is more and which is less?

http://photos.yahoo.com/the_real_vmarques

Unfortunately, the pictures don't appear available in full size.
Where can I put them so you can see them correctly?

Thank you!
V.Marques

Stunning! I have to learn how to draw that well, especially the shading smile
I'll work on my shading while it's our quarterbreak (our 1st quarterm has just ended today and 2nd quarterm's up on the next week!) smile

The webspace that i'm using to post my drawings doesn't allow full size viewing!!! mad

You are seeing my drawings in low size!!!

And may be better to post them on KEG, but i'm not sure of that is and the steps to do it.

HELP!

Meanwhile...

Some tips to drawing:

use pencils of varied hardness (H; B; 5B) for example. This 3 pencils should be enough.

use a rubber for coal because it doesn't produce ribbons and it's not aggressive for the paper. And can be molded in shape, so it is good for details.

Begin drawing slightly with hard pencil (H). Then add detail and contrast with soft pencils (B up to 9B)

you can use your fingers or cotton to soften the lines of the soft pencils (B up to 9B).Or using those already "dirty" with coal for shading. And than use the rubber to outline shapes and lighting

Drawing from mind requires a lot of knowledge. you must be a very attentive person for the details around you.

but if you are drawing from an object or photo in front of you. Basically, you should be impartial. Forget what you know about that that you are looking at and concentrate on that that your eyes are capturing.

Make your eyes jump constantly between the "target" and the drawing to find the differences

The mirror shows you the truth. See your drawing in front of a mirror to find mistakes!

Sorry if it was too long big grin

(something like that) "u're a 1 or a 0..." lol smile

Good work!

PS: I don't know who is Alex Ross but Thank's a lot!

Hey,
Awesome work. I really like the detail you use. Eventhough it's not finished yet, I think the RLC_ce_part2 sketch looks the most like her. What sort of paper do you use for these sketches you do?

All very excellent, I think RLC_ce is the best likeness and best overall. The half finished looks very, very cool, I would actually play with that, just finishing only certain areas and leaving others untouched. Say, like finish the ear and then maybe some of her hair around the part.

Looks good though.

Hey man, those are really good, you certainly are talented. Keep them coming!! Smile

In answer to your question i think that, RLC_ce_part2 and, Rachael_VM1a look the most like her. But then so do the rest.
