(Don't read this if you plan to see the movie
bookies...)

It's funny that they take Rachael to play
the casual girl...when she can be so feminine too...(She play the plain girl in she's all that...at the start of course... we
all know she can wear dress too Big Grin)
I think she look very good in jeans... Smile

Here's some info on her movies Bookies...
(You can find the poster with Rachael on it...)
(She play Hunter...)

There's a modicum of mutual amusement over the presence of Rachael Leigh Cook as Toby's tomboy girlfriend — with a movie at Sundance (The Hi-Line) and a hit in theaters (She's All That) simultaneously, Cook had a bit of a glow herself at the 1999 festival...
And this report...

Synopsis: Toby, Jude, and Casey are four college friends who become small-time bookies, merging their diverse talents in setting up computerized spreadsheets, taking the bets and making the collections.

But despite their mutual vows about discretion, their indulgences and party-hardy lifestyle soon attract attention from the local mob bookmaker, whose turf they've invaded

In addition to co-writing MANIC, Michael's first screenplay BOOKIES was recently sold to Intermedia (CLAY PIGEONS/ HILLARY & JACKIE/COMPANY MEN). BOOKIES is a college based drama surrounding students who set up a sports bookmaking operation out of their dorm room. BOOKIES will be released in 2000 and Michael will play one of the lead roles. Michael is also writing a script for director Joe Dante (INNER SPACE, GREMLINS).

They also spent the evening standing in line for Bookies, the sophomore effort of Happy, Texas writer-director Mark Illsley; the film stars Nick Stahl and Lukas Haas.

Lukas Haas who play with Rachael in Bookies
was the small ''witness'' in Witness...
I've just seen the film this weekend...

Drama
Australian Peter Weir's first Hollywood film tells the story of John Book (Harrison Ford), a Philadelphia cop whose life is altered while trying to help Rachel (Kelly McGillis), an Amish woman, and her son Samuel (Lukas Haas), who witnesses a murder in a Philadelphia train station bathroom.
