I wanted to make DVD captures of American Crime, but my DVD-ROM is set to region 1 and the American Crime DVD is region 4, is there any way to make the DVD-ROM multi-region?

if you go into hardware device manager, then choose your dvd drive and then do right mouse button > properties or action > properties there should be a region tab. most drives will allow a certain number of region changes before locking to the last one selected. there are also permenant hacks around this by flashing the drives eprom and there are also software like dvd genie.
