oh yes, of course i know that page. it's nice, but it's always a VERY BAD idea to create an pure flash page (without a choice). as I'm a pc-technican, I have always the latest stuff to check out things, it doesn't matter to me. but there are many other surfers out there (with older computers or web-tv users) and flash is like a sign to them: "we have to stay outside".

What do you mean by him excluding a lot of people? Do you mean his links? He made the site and explained that it would not really be one that would be regularly updated so that should help explain why some people may not be mentioned.

I mean, that not every computer is able to display flash animation (like older models or web-tv). and the people that are using these, can not visit the page. many people tend to think, that all webstuff they are creating can be viewed on every computer, but it couldn't.

I'm not sure how long you all are RLC fans but...
even Ben created his first fansite in pure html. Well, technologies are developing, so he changed completely the design and converted his already existing idea to flash.

Btw. I'm not a friend of most flash creations around the net. Most are just commercials. But we must see it with an open mind. We shouldn't make a fuss just because of some misuses of this interesting technical thing. It always depends on the quality.
And I think that Ben's flash site has a huge amount of quality
And when people can't view it, they should install the flash plug-in.

Yeah, IMO flash is very cool. The advantages of using it are endless. Its the new thing nowadays, and its a problem to some. As with technology like this you always have to keep up to date. Technology is always on the go, as any pc tech would know.

I've never heard of that comic. I think it's kinda cool.

I'm sure all Americans on this MB will recognize the comic. All kids in the U.S. loved Bazooka gum growing up! Even if the comics were dreadfully unfunny. LOL
