RACHAEL LEIGH COOK RELISHES HER DOG DAYS SUN MARCH 01 2009, 12:15PM Pets are the way to Rachael Leigh Cook’s heart. “I like to spend time with my dogs Sunny and Cooper,” the 29-year-old actress tells me. “We can learn a lot from dogs. They’re so present. They don’t have the life span that we do, but I’m sure it feels like longer to them because they’re just so ‘here.’” The actress, who is married to actor Daniel Gillies, 32, rescued the pups. She feels strongly about saving animals through Rally To Rescue, which supports private rescue organizations. “Anyone going to a pet store should really just go on petfinder.com. You can type in your zip code, the breed and an age, and that dog is probably available for adoption right around the corner.” Source: OK!
