Nice work!!! That's some great talent you got there. Keep up the good work. I also made some rachael drawings and I'm almost done with my 9th drawing http://www.geocities.com/ceejayl/RachaelArt.html here are some of my drawings. RLClaude made a montage of the first six pics.

Thanx Jerald. Hopefully I'll be starting a new piece on her soon. I just had a look at your pieces and they're really great. You know they're the first pictures that I've seen seen which actually resemble her! Where can I see more? How long does it usually take to produce a piece?

hahaha Thanx Jerald! This is one of my favourite's at the moment. I use a ytpe of shading that I developed gradually over time. Like the clothes, all the shading is full of parallel lines, no cross hatching! After I do an initial layer of lines, i continue to go over them till I achieve the correct shade. With this piece I combined an element of 'smudging' to get that softer tone. However, you cannot see these minute lines on the posted piece, so in my opinion, it looks twice as good on the actual paper. I'd be interested to know your method Jerald. Your pictures have a very soft effect to them.

Wow cotton buds. I've never actually thought of using them for some reason...I tend to generally use my fingers, because it's a lot more efficient for me. Usually, after the smudging, I go over the entire piece again with light lines. No reason for it really, but I think it looks alot better. Where are some more of your pics Jerald?? I just completed some Natalie Portman pics, but have decided to stop and take a break due to problems with my wrist. Anyway I hope to see some more pics from you Jerald!!
