Hi all,

First time writer so I don't know if this has been covered before, but for those fans in countries where DVDs haven't been release etc, I've found some of Rachael's movies on Kazaa lite.

So far, been able to find SAT and JATP and I'm looking for others.

Cheers,
A

Hey Archie, welcome to the board! I'm pretty sure this has been covered before. I too have also have found RLC movies on Kazaa, and other P2P programs (Sally, JATP, SAT, AntiTrust, etc). Still, some of these DVDz can be easily obtained in Australia, if you look hard enough. Wink

I don't think we should really be encouraging pirating movies on this MB that can be purchased on DVD or video, do you?

about "getting movies that its not here in the (your coutry) yet"... I've meet this problem from the first time I've started my research in Central Asia.. most available is "English vershion with Chinese sub-titles with really bad quality"... then I've found a VCD's from Russia with quite normal quality but with bad translation.... and at the end.... I've got it... DVD original - by request from Europe.. ofcourse it costs for 10$ more than in EU (shipping cost)... but... at least I can get quality....

I've got an AntiTrust (my FAV movie) Wink and I have it now in... VCD, DivX (Mpeg4) (both RU translated), and now an original from EU...

and....... I'm happy... 'couse the translation... it makes a lot difference in the movie... I've seen 2 different translation on to russian... and - it's really two different movies! Eek but the best one - is original

Two translations for one movie in one language? That sounds strange... I've heard that there are different translations of European French and Candian French, but that is more about accent reasons... Roll Eyes

Yes, I have JATP in two versions, the french VHS and the american DVD with the canadian voices, and the accent is different but some words change, and it's funny to hear different jokes Wink

Who's rock star ?

I know what Pauleta and Schaumi are talking about... French dubbing is different with a few expressions changed whether is done in Paris, Montreal or even Brussels (where Nelvana, from Toronto, Canada, sends their TV series to be dubbed...)

Still a hot debate here where major studios tries to settle to avoid paying two similar language dubbings...

It's cool if you like it, it's okay if you don't, just decide for yourselves...

I guess the voices in Thai version is the worst. Especially in Sally & Tangled are very, very bad. Frown
