Well why would she be? She's at Cannes promoting her movies. Plus her other movies either weren't big enough (in the box office) to make it, just wasn't good enough, or too old to be nominated.
I think I actually would've been shocked if Josie And The Pussycats got nominated for anything, 'cause... well... the movie wasnt exactly all great. The story were cheesy, only reason I saw it was because of Rachael...

Hellboy, were you drunk when you saw that movie or something? The movie is meant to be cartoony, and while the ending left something to be desired, the POINT of this movie (which media controlling the populace and teens following trends) is presented in a very funny, in your face manner. Did you NOT see all the product placements? And there's even a N'Stink spoof called DuJour! What more can you ask?

Yeah as Coven says, is from a cartoon, and tells how some young people are manage by media, and to me just gave a great point of pop music, that sucks, and that punk rules

yeah, the blurb on the back of the DVD box is enough to make any respectable movie fan wince although the film itself is actually pretty fantastic. it's quite funny and ironic and i like the way that it takes a shot at pop-culture. it works on certain levels aswell, you could show it to a bunch of young kids who'd all enjoy it equally.
needless to say, most movie critics disagreed with me
