So thank you for the pedagogic lesson.
Then let me tell you this. In college you are supposed not only to be proficient in the diverse subjects that you are learning, but you are also supposed to have a measure of social skill. Your teachers (at least in my case) look at you as an adult, and expect you to behave accordingly. Therefore such social lessons and knowledges are not given, they are taken for granted as previously acquired.

So pardon me, but you haven't taught me anything new.

Now let me give you a lesson of my own. I think that it's plain incoherent for one to waste his time reading something that is of no interest to himself. Not only did you do that, you also posted an opinion. Your opinion as you can easily see, is no more then reminding us all of what had been posted previously.

So, i grant you your point of view. Yes, sure ... you are entitled to your opinion. But why bother reading that which is of no interest to you, and stating what has been said before by other posters? Do you want the person who started this thread to feel crushed by a massive amount of negative opinions?

Just in case, you want to criticize me by saying that i am also incoherent, because i have read this thread... I'll just tell you this: Not only am i interested in what concerns my life, and my ambitions, as i am also concerned with my friends lives. Therefore i like to talk to them about the people they are in love with, and so on. And just like every human being, i am also interested (a little bit), in other people's (people who i know nothing about) lives. That's why i read the newspapers, that's why i have read this thread.

That was very...interesting. I care who her boyfriend is, as I also would like to see what her tastes in men are. But, I don't wish to be that person. If no girl will like me because I am me, then no girl is worth my energy. I'll spend said energy on my car instead. lol
That's a good point, that we are (most of us) interested in some people's lives. I could listen to a person's life story for hours, or read it all the way through, just because I want to know them. Too bad Rachael hasn't published her life story....

Oh please, and i was thinking that you were the master in basic sycology. You want me to give you a pedagogic lesson for a change? I generally don't give them for free... But I'll open an exception. What makes one mature is not his age, nor the place where one works at, (they do have a measure of influence though). Society shapes us, and the social environment that surrounds us ... makes us grow ... i was already mature enough when i first entered college. Don't misunderstand me please. What I told you up there in my post, was what teachers in college expect from you. Do you think that i was a childish person when i first entered college, and then "PUF" in one day i became a man? Is that how you envision growing up? And the fact that they look at me as an adult, doesn't make me an adult just yet. I am not out there working for society, i still live with my parents. I still have a lot to grow. However i can easily adapt to what the environment that surrounds me, expects from me. I can be formal, just as i can serious. Believe me ... replying to your last post, proves just how childish i can be when i want to.

I am glad you want this site to do well. I don't see why you could possibly want it to do badly (if you know what i mean). If you don't know what i mean i'll explain ... my point here is : Why did you even said that? What relevance does it actually have?

Allow me to disagree with you, on that part of caring about people. I think that everyone deserves to be happy, and there is no happiness without caring. If you say that some people don't deserve to be cared for, you are simply saying that some people don't deserve to be happy. You are dividing the world in hierarchies. The good the best, and the worthless... I don't like it that way. I don't truly care about many people ... because managing to integrate, and be understood by a small group of people is hard enough ... and since we all are selfish in our own kind of ways ... conflicts are bound to occur when too large groups of people gather up. And this means everywhere, the real life ... or the net.

But whatever ... i could be at this for hours ... i am moving on ...

Yes, this is no longer related to the topic at all (my last post that is). But you know ... the topic is long dead. It's not as if anyone has a lot to say about who her Bf is, right? And out of the people who have read this topic ... most of them seem uninterested in it. The purpose of this thread was simply, to name a name.

As for the other half ... the incorrect half ... I can say this. At least for me ... this isn't pointless, not at all. I find this thread much more interesting (right now), then when it was long dead. I collected some fruits out of this experience, ... as for the rest of you ... that's up to you to decide. But yeah, i'll let the fire burn into ashes.
