if you difract white light through a prism it will be split up into the visible spectrum which is essentially every colour.

In photography, Red25A filters allow red light only to pass through. UV filters block ultraviolet light. hmmm.

The way I see it, topics don't need to be locked until they go wildly off-topic. Just beacuse a thread runs out of steam doesn't mean that it should always be locked. In a month or two, maybe someone will have something new to add, and leaving the thread open makes that available.

Since you guys keep posting stuff like, "close this" and such, you are actually causing the need to close the topic. In the future, please just let the threads end naturally. I only close topics when I HAVE to.
