(most of this is about me, the rachael stuff in kinda near the bottom)I don't like rap or hip-hop at all because i feel no talent is involved instead of trying to rhyme words... Anyway I love fugazi, they are an 80's punk band and they rule... I love ska like mustard plug and reel big fish and i hate the ataris nowadays cause they sold out and went on mtv, they used to be good though... I like a lot of underground punk and stuff, emo is ok too like the ataris.... I hate mtv... anyway rachael is pretty cool in her music choices... And it's sooooo awesome that she plays video games.. i dont like xbox or gamecube though... i wont discuss this here because i went way off topic already, if you wanna know why i hate xbox, go hereGo to the 7 reasons the xbox can suck it... may offend some people... bye

Don't worry Slim Sam, you're not alone. I love rap too, except for Nelly and Ja Rule. Actually Nelly and Ja aren't under Rap because they are sell-outs, they're not rappers, they are pop artist. Since your from the ATL, I'm guessing your into Ying Yang twinz, Pastor Troy, Dungeon Family, Ludacris(?), I don't know, Ludacris kinda sold-out too. I love the ying yang twinz though.

Actually I like all kinds of music, I don't like MTV, or the artist who support it. MTV is kinda like Fiona in JATP, telling the kids what's cool and what's not. It's pathetic.

As a sorta punk my official stance on mtv is i hate it, but even though its mainly the same bands being recycled, a few new acts do get through now and again and its a good advertisement for your bands work. I dont blame the bands cuz if your in it to express your beliefs or just to make money your not gonna say no to being turned into rock stars(unless thats what your singing against).

What only makes me sorta punk and not hardcore(apart from there not being a real definition) is i listen to what i like and not stuff just because its untrendy(as opposed to not trendy)

Sam- i like Michelle Branch and Venessa Carlton is ok but i cant stand Avril Lavigne.

Have you heard of a girl pop-punk band called Tuuli? they're like The Donnas but quite a bit more poppy...or a more punky (and a hell of a lot better)version of Avril Lavigne.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I wonder if she listens to Tool. Tool is awesome. I highly recommend 30 Seconds To Mars to all of you who enjoy music. Except rap fans; y'all wouldn't like it.

I'm a hip hop head and I love Tool. I know lots of hip hop fans that also listen to them. Maybe you're confusing real hip hop fans with those that listen to 50 Cent.

I love old school Beasties. Thats about the closest to rap I get.
