she will still be cook. she's a star and celebrities don't really like to change their names around. it's pretty rare. if she does though, it would be Rachael Leigh Cook Gilles. that sounds crappy so she better leave it!

I think its a shame that female celebs keep their maiden names.
Seems like a stigma, here they talk about wanting a normal life and all yet they say no to taken their husbands name.
Keeping the name for show business is most likely the main reason, but the only other one I can think of is that most hollywood marriages don't last therefore they are skeptic in committing to name change.
Despite all these marriages of celebs lately none have really taken their husbands name, there was one recently what I appaulded but can't think of her name now, lol

It is not a shame, it is their lives and they do what they have to do. We haven't to judge this. If we have to speak about shame, I think it's more a shame that it is often the women who have to change their family name , and not the men.
