hen I asked if they could order them, they said it would take 2-3 weeks. Well, I've never been known to be a patient guy, so off to the internet I go.

I ordered the following movies from Amazon:

"The Baby-Sitters Club" VHS @ $9.95
"Carpool" VHS @ $13.99
"The Naked Man" VHS @ $9.95
"The Bumblebee Flies Anyway" VHS @ $13.99
"Strike!" DVD @ $25.49
"The Hi-Line" DVD @ $21.49

And the only movie of hers not available at amazon from buy.com:

The Eighteenth Angel VHS; @ $7.49

Of course, for those of you who remember, I don't own a VCR at the moment, so I'm also planning on buying one of those in the next few days.

7 new movies for me to watch, all with plenty of RLC goodness... I can't wait.

Just thought I'd share my movie madness with you all.

Nate! This is VERY IMPORTANT! When you sit down to watch "The Naked Man", be sure to have a bag of marshmellows with you!

(and some patience as she does not show up until about 50 minutes in)

Marshmallows. Gotcha. 50 minutes in isn't too bad... I bought The House of Yes last week and watched the whole thing... she's in the first scene and the last scene, a total of about 5 minutes and both were done in home movie quality recording. Awesome.

And to top it off, the movie has the worst plot I have ever had the displeasure of hearing. Not that the actual movie was terrible, it's just the plot.... ok tell me if this isn't the most horrible plot summary you could possibly think of:

"A young man brings his fiancée home to meet his crazy family, including his demented twin sister who fantasizes about being Jacqueline Kennedy. When the twins' incestuous past is revealed, it threatens to tear his relationship apart."

I mean, come on! What kind of a producer would EVER even look twice at a movie described thusly?

*shudder*

Anyway... I'm getting off topic. (getting?)

Personally, I loved "House of Yes." smile It's one of my favorite movies. Yes, the plot is psychotic but that's WHY you would never see a big studio do that movie. wink Only the indie companies would dare to try something like that; I'm glad that they did. smile Many good movies came from those who dared to be different.
