I decided to take the risk and take my sis to the MTV Movie Awards with the hope of seeing Rachael. Unfortunately, she wasn't there. Rosario Dawson and Tara Reid were there, but I couldn't find them, so I didn't get a chance to see them. Winona Ryder was also there--She's probably the next best thing to Rachael, IMHO. I did, however, come within five feet of Christina Aguilera, so all-in-all, even without Rachael it was almost worth it.

I am glad to hear you had a good time. Rachael was proably filming or hanging out with her family and that's why she wasn't there. I would love to go to some big time celebrity event someday!

Then again Stephen she could have been out drinking, smoking, and having a good time. I do have what we call the smoking fetish. I like to watch young ladies smoke. I think most of the posters to this board have a fetish, wether they want to admit it or not. A fetish is defined as any object, idea, etc., elicting unquestioning reverence, respect, or devotion. How many posters fall within the realm of this defintion? My point is, to my knowledge no one here actually knows or has met RLC, whenever anything negative is posted about RLC the majority of the posters defend her. When RLC smokes in a movie don't say she smoked because the movie required it.

Actually it is common knowledge that she doesn't smoke in real life.

The MTV Awards at times can be a load of croc. They wouldn't know real talent if it hit em in the face!

If she smokes in a movie it is because the movie requires it. If she does not smoke in a movie, it is because the movie requires it. Whether she smokes or not in real life has no influence on whether or not she smokes in a movie. Every actor has to conform to the plot.

PIC, don't claim you know something about RLC unless you know for sure....

Now does that sound like a positive thing, no....no one likes to be told what to do. I'd ask you to tone down the comments and find out the facts first.

Listen it's not common knowledge that she doesn't smoke in real life- it's common knowledge that she claims she doesn't smoke. It's like saying that there isn't a Area 51- just because the US Government denies it- I mean there's evidence of it's exsistence, like photos, eye witness accounts, and confessions of it's employees both past- and present.

Rob, obviously there is no Area 51. Those pictures are just training jets and weather balloons and swamp gas! It's common knowledge!

There is an area-51, or atleast a large military base in the middle of the dried up groom lake in nevada garded by the US Military- call it Area-51 if you want to or not but it does exsist.

I believe the governmnet acknowledged its existence a few years back.

They still closed-off some federal lands that had a good view of the facility.

I saw something on the Discovery channel that said activity at the Groom Lake area has declined in the past few years.

well this has certianly gotten away from the base topic
lets just recount the facts we do know
1)there is an area 51
2)nates post about swap gas was a joke, i canr tbelieve some people fell for it
3) rachael states she doesnt smoke and has never been pictured in public or anytime except in some movies smoking and that was only when the script called for it expressly. Thus we can assume she doesnt smoke , until theres proof we take her word as fact, ive never seen her lie before so why do it now.

pic - not everyone has a fetish, and im not sure where you got your definition from but the oxford dictionary certianly doesnt agree it states a festish as something that is irrationally revered.(something like an inanimate object as a diety is the example it uses) so you may fall into having a festish about women smoking, but not everyone has fetishes in fact id doubt many people do have them, be their fetish healthy or unhealthy, its a rare thing, and thank(insert name of whatever diety you believe in here for that)

Listen I knew nate was making a joke- but not until I read it again after I posted!

Also your right about the smoking thing- there is no evidence supporting the fact that's it true-

But then again theres no evidence that God exsist and people still beleave in his/hers/it's exsistence soley because a book & a bunch of people in funny outifts says so.

Yeah, but why wouldn't you believe a badly translated copy of a copy of a book that was written by an unknown author hundreds of years ago about a big invisible man in the sky?

{connor_in valiantly tries to kick the topic back to the original topic}

Hey, wow! Soooo... the MTV awards didn't have RLC show, huh? Well, maybe in the future if they would release some of her movies they have in reserve!

You have a good point. With so many movies slated to be released in 2000/2001 they could have a Rachaelfest for like a couple months.
