Hey chris, ok now its time to shutup (Sorry but i like to be direct). Im not going to write a big essay about this, its just pointless and we're off topic. Just one more thing to be said.. Go and cry somewhere else. Period.

Chris and Nick,

Play nice, boys. This isn't the place to get testy about something so trivial and...Off-Topic. wink

oh, this is nice... and very adult... if you're running out of arguments, you can always tell your opponent to shut up, eh? very nice! and very very adult.

ps @TR:
maybe you're right with the testy point, but I wouldn't expect sentences like "most of the ones that make/watch the films DO speak english" from more or less cosmopolitan people but from people living on a farm in the middle of nowhere.

i have a question for you chris.... what does it matter what people think about sub's or dub's? it's just thier preferance you dont need to get all pissy about it, it's just what they prefer and you're taking it into offense and it isnt even necessary, so i dont know what all the fuss is about, but just calm down! big grin

do you know what's really strange about that? you tell me to calm down and accept/respect other opinions. and although I wrote that I do respect, and the other ones didn't (except of TR) you don't give ME the right to have a different opinion, only because I use more words than "no subtitles no subtitles no subtitles". and remember: in my first message of this topic I tried to show you a different view of the subtitles thing. than moosegirl tried to tell me, that most people that watch movies are able to speak/understand english. why doesn't anybody is talking about that strange thesis. maybe we should ask the people in france, greece, spain, poland, vietnam or even germany about that??!! and after Nickz0r and Valkyrs "excellent" answers, I tried to make it a little more clear, but I was told to shut up. why aren't you talking about that? and even after I was told to shut up and someone ask to close this topic I wasn't rude to anybody.

nobody tried to show a little comprehension about another opinion, and that is really sad, because I did it. of course this all went off topic, but this is the way, a discussion goes sometimes...
