Indie is an independent film, like it doesn't have a production company behind it or something like that.

No, im talking about indie rock. Its not a movie, its a style, like punk rock or hacdcore. Indie rock would be like bands like "The Strokes" or "White Stipes" Sorry if there was any confussion.

Oh, well I don't think the Strokes or the White Stripes are indie, but maybe. Their style is more English punk actually, sort of like the Velvet Underground. Indie rock isn't a style of music really, it's pretty much the same as indie movies, when a band doesn't have a label but still put out CD's. Like Thursday is an indie band. Just like movies it stands for "Independent" meaning the makers don't have financial support from any company when making whatever they are making.

I do know that indie rock is the same as any indie called. It's independent label of the artist , so they were called indie rock or anything indie.

Okay, Rachael's best haircuts are... (not in order...)
1-Babysitter's Club 2-Dawson's Creek 3-She's All That (after makeover, Downstairs scene !!!) 4-Blow Dry (Her short hair !!!) 5-Antitrust 6-Josie (especially in the beginning of the movie)
By the way, hope "American Crime" comes out in the next year, would like to see her with that blonde look (wore a wig, but who cares ????)

They are signed? I thought they didn't have a label, and you are riht, I would call them emo, but I wasn't saying "indie" is the style of music they play because "indie" isn't a style. ----- Life's a garden. Dig it. Make it work for you.

I would say, definetly the Josie hair (especially the scene where she's working on Alan's truck) and Anti-Trust. She looks better in a short hair cut because she's smaller. But does anyone else here dissagree with her whole 'short blonde' phase?

I am probably one of the few who liked her "short blond" phase. I specifically like the photos from the article about her in "Interview" magazine. Flavor of the month wannabe.
