I have that episode on "Dawsons Creek - The Best Of Seasons 1 & 2" DVD. Much better quality than the box sets as it is widescreen anamorphic. Play.com are currently selling it for £7.99 . In fact Amazon.co.uk have a "used" one (still sealed for £1.40!!).

If you have access to the Disney Channel on satellite in the UK then "The Babystitters' Club" is on one evening next week. I can confirm the time.

Damn it! I hadn't noticed it was on until I checked the forum... still managed to catch the last 10 minutes but still caught a glimpse of the lovely Cookie Big Grin

Can't complain... if I hadn't checked the forum I wouldn't have seen her at all! (apart from my wallpaper of course Wink)

I'd never seen Blow Dry until the first half the other night... as it was the day after my birthday and I was a bit of a physical wreck, I desperately needed sleep, and couldn't stay up until the end Frown

But I simply could not believe how beautiful Rachael looked in it!! She keeps finding ways to amaze me Big Grin

Heh, I dreamed about our favourite girl last night. I'd gone back to visit my college the year after graduation, and Rachael had started there. She and I had a conversation over a cup of tea in the corridor, and she told me she was broke and was going to have trouble to afford her studies Frown

She was beautiful, though Smile

Big Grin Hooray! It's about time they started putting her movies on terrestrial TV... shame I didn't realise until flicking channels and seeing "Pussycats Unplugged" outside that orange store Laugh Out Loud

If you look really hard you can make out the halo over Rachael's head Wink

I have JATP on DVD, but that was no excuse not to watch it yesterday Smile

It's an APPALLING film, but well worth it just for Rachael's indescribable beauty throughout. I could just fall into those eyes. She really is just unbelievable

I see it was edited for TV though I have no idea what was offensive about the original release as I believe that had a PG certificate.

Indeed the UK release was rated PG. The U.S. got two versions, a PG-13 [which was the same version as the UK one] and a PG edit which was edited for 'sensuality and language'.

The version shown on TV was the UK version with some minor edits - remember this was broadcast around 6pm - so some 'mild' swearing was taken out.

The only other edit of note that was included in the TV broadcast, but is not present in the U.S. PG version is the 'honk if you love...' gag during the opening credits.

Finally i seem to remember [i can't find the post] someone asking if Rachael sang vocals on the soundtrack, and quite rightly, it was pointed out that she sang backing vocals. However it was also stated that the three girls played their instruments on the soundtrack and in the film. They did learn to play the songs when necessary [i.e. when they were being filmed 'performing' the songs], but i'm sure that they didn't actually play. They were taught to look as if they were playing them, that's all. Smile

I think Tara Reid actually got proficient on the drums to the extent that she could have played but didn't play on the soundtrack. Kay Hanley was the girl doing the lead vocals (to save checking other posts).

I have the original American release which was the PG-13 version.
