A previous post contained a quote from People magazine: "Rachael Leigh Cook is keeping her August wedding to actor Daniel Gillies 'small and intimate' and has decided against a registry. 'We dont need anything,' she says. Just each other." Well... August is almost over, so whats going on?

P.S. I'll give the marriage two years at best. No offense to Rachael or Daniel or anyone who reads this. I'm not saying this out of bitterness or anything like that, but let's face it. Famous people GET married, but famous people don't STAY married. Especially such young ones as them.

Shhhh You guys can't keep still. Perhaps she forgot already that wedding thing. And now she's reading these lines and says: Ah yes, I remember! I wanted to marry Daniel this month. Ok, let's go. Thank you very much, fans Schaumi

I don't believe in love, which I'll admit is somewhat dismal and depressing, but I do believe that everyone has weaknesses, and it's probably just a matter of time until being constantly separated gets the better of one of them. Just like all other famous couples. But just for the record, I acknowledge that I could be wrong.

I haven't been here in a while, due to a dodgy internet connection, but I'm gonna post my take on what's going on about Rachael and Daniel. Personally, I believe that we should be optimistic that the marriage will last despite their work commitments. The longer the relationship lasts, the stronger the love is and to me Rachael deciding to marry Daniel means that he's gotta be something special to her. For that to end would undoubtedly break her heart and I wouldn't wish that upon anyone, especially Rachael. So to all those waiting for it to fail and break up... aren't you just waiting for her heart to break? Have a little faith and be happy because she is. PS At first I was a little disappointed that Rachael was settling down, but then I realised that it would have to happen someday and it would never realistically have been me standing beside her so I just learned to accept it This message was posted by: SKILLZ RLC, Practically Perfect In Every Way http://scottslife.homestead.com/

You people are twisting my words. I never said anything about WANTING them to break up, or being so diluted as to think I would ever have any sort of chance with her. What I'm saying is that a celebrity has a better chance of winning the lottery than having a long lasting relationship with another celebrity. And by the way, Beckham cheated on posh, and the only reason she tolerated it is BECAUSE of the kids.

BUT, beckham and posh are still together. so that means their marriage flame is still alight. showing not all celebrity marriages dont work

Hey Guys! Let me just say this. There does seem to be more problems with marriages involving celebrities then those without celebrities. However, we need to look at a few items: -- While RLC is relatively well known, she is not really a MAJOR celebrity (more a well respected actress that can work as much as she wants and is able to be involved with high level talent in front of and behind the screen). Therefore, less press attention and less pressure and scrutiny from the public (not counting her die hards here and in the other RLC groupings out there). -- Secondly, she is a midwesterner with strong family ties. Therefore, she is well grounded with a good head on her shoulders who understands the real world outside of LA-LA-Land. -- Another thing is her beau, Daniel, is kind of in the same boat. The item he is best known for is his somewhat minor part in Spider-Man 2. Plus I'm sure if he were looking to use relationships for publicity, he would try to date some of the many scantily dressed, preening, dieing to move up to being a B lister, anything to be photographed, boyfriend hopping strumpets that are to be had out there. If what we seem to understand about RLC to be true (I say this because as "fans" we can never know the "true" RLC), then I say trust her judgement, wish her well, and raise your glass high and wish them truly blessed happiness for the rest of their lives!

Here, here! Just as a thought... what is the likely hood of seeing images of the wedding? Not in a glossy magazine, over publicised way, but just like pictures taken by friends/family. Now, I realise these pictures would be personal and probably wouldn't be loaded onto a computer in the first place but would there be any chance of seeing Rachael in THE dress? Having said that who knows they might just have an intimate ceremony with hardly anyone there... how should I know what's going to happen? In the interest of good news and reasons to party, I've been trying to find out when Rachael's marriage took place. Marriage is a special occasion for the families of the bride and groom and all friends involved as well. It is to be celebrated. We recognize her birthday. We celebrate the release date of Josie and the Pussycats. It would be wrong if we could not celebrate her marriage and, in time, her anniversaries with Daniel. It is a matter of respect to her, to Daniel, and to the institution in which they have entered. Long may it last. So, have they married? If yes, when was it? If not, kindly inform us of when the date was after the fact, to keep the most rabid Rachael fans from crashing the party. I'm sure many are waiting for the moment when they can raise a toast to her and Daniel, and then we can move on. Have a great day! "I'm not a destructive person by nature..." Rachael Leigh Cook

I believe the time will coming when we'll get a date of her marriage. And I hope we will get it to know from herself. Until then I would give her "a few quiet moments". I'm sure anyone will recognize this day ... PS: it would be certainly great to see her in THE dress. I can't remember I saw her once in the dress except in the films.
