| It's not a dumb question, it's a good question. I've been curious myself, just never thought to ask (for some reason). I'm guessing she's not terribly religious, since I've never seen her wearing a cross nor heard her talk about it.
Has anyone heard any acceptance speeches? Does she thank her parents and God and all that?
Personally, I'm an atheist, so I'm rooting for atheism on her part, but I'm cool with anyone who doesn't try to push their religion on others and doesn't look down on people because of their religious beliefs, and I'm sure Rachael would fit into that category.

| Let's leave that one with her. There is plenty more about her that she shares with her fans. -TR |

| Yeah, Nate is right. Its not like we're gonna find out what she believes and then convert her, were just curious, cause we're RLC nuts. |

| I think it'd be cool to know that Rachael practices the same faith I do. I've been wondering the same thing forever, I just thought that a topic like this wouldn't get any posts. By the way, what does cromulent mean? I consider myself to have a rather large vocabulary, but I can't even find that word in the dictionary. |

| LOL! At least I'm not the only person wondering what that word meant. :-)

I disagree. The in's and out's of a person's faith are possibly some of the most personal and individualized things one can have. Some may associate themself with a religion in name only, while other people (depending upon the dogma of the faith) may be very active in their practice. |

| *LOL* It's from the Simpsons. The whole town started using "embiggen" (as in to enlarge) and Lisa kept trying to tell everyone that embiggen wasn't a word.
At one point she says that to Bart, and he says "Embiggen is a perfectly cromulent word." The joke being that cromulent isn't a word either, but they both sound like they almost could be words.
It's amusing to throw in a sentance and no one will know the word, but they'll still know what you mean (if you use it the way I did).

Actually, I often jokingly tell people that Rachael is my religion. I agree that this is a valid question, but personally I don't really care what religion she is. |

All he asked was what religion she followed. It's about as impersonal as asking what county you live in. He didn't ask about her personal feelings on faith and god etc etc. Almost all questions that can be answered with a single word (ok, so sometimes it takes 2 or three for those neo new-age southern non-practicing orthodox born-again religions) are not too personal to ask. It's not like we're asking for a 5000 page thesis on her personal belief system with charts and diagrams and footnotes. -Nate |

| id guess jsut christian but thankfully she doesnt try to push her faith on her adoring fans, as for rlc as a religion , well the Australian Census is coming around in a few weeks , if 1400 people put down rachael leigh cook as their religion it becomes an official religion of Australia, so if you know anyone in australia put down religion as rlc and she may very well become a religion hehe ahh well , personally being atheist as long as she doesnt try to push her religion on others she can believe in whoever she wants |

I see. I misunderstood what you meant before. I agree that it wouldn't be too much to state the name. |
