She has said she doesn't care about being a "star", she just wants to be an actress. I know one day she'll be in a major feature film that shows her talent. Her best work seems to be in indies no one sees. Then when she does get a chance at a major feature it's a flop i.e. "Josie and the Pussycats". I actually thought it was amusing and she saved the film .
Richard Roeper I was the only critic that liked it.Although Rachael's mother says the contrary, I do not think that it is a coincidence that Rachael's father is a social worker and Rachael plays great psychologically damaged characters i.e. "Get Carter" and "Defenders:Payback". Has Rachael made a film ith Daniel? The last time she made a film with a significant other that I know of was when she was dating her co-star from "Hi-Line". I do remember Richard Roeper liking the movie. I definitely remember that Roger Ebert didn't like it, and was totally shocked that Roeper liked it. He didn't even like the music; the music was very fun, I always thought.
I wonder if Gene Siskel would have liked the movie. Here is a tidbit of trivia... "She's All That" was the last movie review Siskel ever wrote. He liked it and gave it three stars. (Ebert didn't like it, but he did say some nice things about Rachael, at least.) The last line Siskel wrote was about Rachael; he wrote, "I look forward to seeing her in her next movie." You can see reference to this here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0803021/bio Rachael and Daniel have worked together, actually. It was a short film by Daniel and Geoff Oki. It was called "Wait For Me". Check out this thread for more info and links to watch it on YouTube. http://community.rachaelleighcook.net/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/72460952/m/8861079254 They are currently working on a new one ("The Disposables"), in fact. -TR |
