Hi guys, this might be kind of a weird post, but... I've watched She's All That, Antitrust, and Get Carter the last three nights, and I've found myself in tears in all three movies. I'm not generally one to get terribly emotional to this extent with movies, but they get to me. Especially in Get Carter, it is just so disturbing... At least with She's All That, it's more tears of joy than of sorrow, but I found myself crying three times alone in Get Carter, I imagine you can think of the scenes. I don't really know how to explain it, this might even sound creepy. But this is just how I get. Does anyone else get this way at all? It just seems so abnormal, I don't normally do this.

Good on you! Yep , its a direct effect of good acting. Rachael is good in that way. If a script or director says , "make them feel sad for you" , she does exactly that.
So, your not creepy , i'm pretty much sure that 90% of these ppl here have had too at least swallow down that lumpy throat feeling! :: a smelly guy? :: |

SAT never made me cry, but it has reduced me to writhing on the floor during certain scenes! I LOVE Rachael’s outburst to Zack when Dean spills the beans about the bet:
“Am I a bet, Zack? Am I a BET?? Am I a F***ING BET?!?!?!?!?!?” She’s SO cute when she’s mad. I do honestly think it’s quite a touching movie, despite the fact that it’s a cheesy teen flick. And I think RLC does a very good job of showing how Laney slowly lets her defences down to Zack as she realises he’s not the superficial creep she was expecting. You can see it in her face quite brilliantly in some scenes – the hackysack scene, the marguerita scene and the pizza scene, for instance. And when she returns from the prom, she does a WONDERFUL job of lying to her Dad (“I DID have fun”), when you can tell she’s really hurt. If anything moves me CLOSE to tears, it’s the same scene, when she walks into the room and… *sniff* Crackin’ little actress; utterly, UTTERLY beautiful young lady. We love you, Rachael. A distant star that says "this love will never die"... |

Nah, not blubbering... I don't do that one. I just get the occasional jaw rattle and a few tears. Not so much in She's All That, that's more of an eyes welling up type-thing, but Get Carter was the most emotional, especially the rooftop scene.

I have to admitt my eyes well-up a bit during the scene in which Laney says to Zack something to the effect the she promised herself that she wouldn't let people see her cry.

I cried in "The Defenders: Payback" the first time I seen it. Rachael did a very good job in that movie.

The only movies that made me cry were E.T. (the part when he was leaving and he hugged elliot.) and the Fox and the Hound.

Are you guys cried because of watching movie? I never cried because of movie even when I was young, not even once! But I felt sad when I watched some movies. I guess it's must be something wrong with my lacrimal gland.
