Sorry for the short play-by-play but I need sleep, badly.
- showed a powerful clip of the miniseries "Into The West" This is her work yet(she better have at least an emmy nod, anything less is a crime) - new haircut. reminds me of the old 50's hair-do, but toned downed a bit. Very cute. - I can safely say that her being "fat" is just false. Because she came out in a short navy blueish jeans(why am I describing this? you're going to see caps of it soon, not buy me though, sorry -She did a funny sketch with muppet Pepe the king prawn and Ferguson before the beginning credits. -She said she wants to do more comedy (yay!) -she auditioned for a muppet movie but they asked her to sing and... well... it wasn't good. - Ferguson was teasing her about the typical sexual innuendo she, of corse slapped him on the hand. He then, in comic fashion, Asked her to slap him again. ( Is it me or is he better than Kilborn?) - Too short for my tase but thank God for TIVO!!! For those who have any questions, Don't be afraid to ask by keeping this disscussion running. I'll be back tomorrow. What we do in life, echos in eternity. -Russel Crowe portraying Maximus in the movie Gladiator. Formerly The Rabid Wolverine for reasons that are obvious to Pro-wrestling fans. |

The skit with Pepe was funny. Craig Furguson asked Pepe if he heard of Rachael Leigh Cook. Pepe said that he did not. Then Rachael came into the sceen wearing a robe and a towel on her head. She then said to Pepe,"Honey, do you know where my shampoo is?" She also was saying that she auditioned for the role of Dorothy in The Muppet Wizard of Oz(I think she was just adlibbing so as to move the joke along.) because the producers heard her in Josie and the Pussycats, but was cut after they heard her sing. She also said that Pepe was hitting on her, but forgot her in the morning. She has mentioned that she was to afraid to do live theater. I think she is ready for live work and I hope she hosts Saturday Night Live soon.

Even though I mention it, I think the whole audition thing was a joke. She did not mention that Kay Hanely sang her parts when Rachael was talking about singing in Josie and the Pussycats. She said that the producers wanted her to audition because of Josie. I would assume that the producers of the Muppet movie would have known that Kay did the actual singing. Rachael has such a dry humor and she carried the whole muppet joke/adlib/improv so well that, again, I hope she hosts SNL next season, I think she is over her stage fright.BTW Muppet's Wizard of Oz wasnot half bad. Ashanti played Dorothy, Queen Latifa was Aunt Em, In Living Color's David Allen Grier was the Uncle, and Arrested Devolpment's Jeffery Tambor was the Wizard. Another reason that I think Rachael was joking about the audition, Dorothy wanted to be a singing pop star, why would Rachael be in mind?

TR, since you did not mention the fact that Rachael might be on a muppet movie, do you feel that Rachael was joking, or are there some stupid television executives out there that think."Boy, Rachael Leigh Cook sounds like Kay Hanily"or"Hey, we found a WASP J-Lo!"?

the voice of kay suited rachael's character as josie. almost sounds like it's her voice. i wish rachael was really in a band. she'd be a kick ass rock star.
