I wish I read this earlier. Did you ultimately make it in to the chat? Were you Me17?

I just tested out the java chat thingie and it worked for me. What went wrong with your attempt? Did you check the HELP section on the chat page?

Yeah I made it, though I couldn't use my nickname. I was Me17.

I got a bit confused as to what time it was on, what with the Daylight Savings and all. I tried to log in at about 9.30 GMT, and I saw all that px stuff, and I thought I was after breaking the chat, so I just thought I'd tell you before making my getaway!

Turns out it's okay though, sono harm done!

Gotcha. I am guessing that "Me" was already registered, so it wouldn't let you use that name.

Yeah, the "px" thing was driving me crazy, since I didn't originally have Op status at the beginning of the chat. Thanks to bank for getting the kinks worked out, though.
