Unfortunately, the movie didn't do well at the box office so I can say, with almost 100% certainty, that there will not be a sequel. It's failing was in its promotion. It had a hard time finding how it really should have been depicted. Personally, I enjoyed the movie; I thought the writing was extremely satirical and witty. -TR

I agree with TR.
Launched in the middle of the "Bridget Jones" hurricane, Archie Comics and Universal failed to prepare the fans about this one...
For the Comic book readers: Josie didn't issue a comic book since the mid-90s. They should have put some special issues a couple of months before the movie and hide the Dan DeCarlo (R.I.P.) trial about his rights to the caracter...
And for Universal: a brief note to the "She's All That" and "American Pie" fans that their favorite actress were playing in the movie... (And how about Parker Posey fans ?)
This movie, even with its non success, might be subject to an underground cult following...

I agree...As anyone around here can tell, I could talk about JATP for hours...I'm not going to hold my breath for a sequel, BUT it would be nice if Rachel, Rosario, and Tara worked together again on some other project...or if they made another comedy with Kaplan and Elfont...the actresses really compliment each other well, imo

Best satire ever created...shame that it wasn;t appreciated by the masses (stupid masses)

Yeah...I agree with everyone on this one. It was all about it's promotion. Scooby Doo had a major promotion going on. I was expecting to see some GREAT stuff. Sadly...it didn't pass my "great-movie test." I just want to see Rach in another great commedy.
