Hi Smile

So has there ever been any rlc competitions on rachaelelighcook.net? I think we should have one Smile

I think we should have one where the winner gets to meet rachael in person and hang out with her for a day Smile

First of all there will have to be a trivia question to enter the competition. I'm sure TR can come up with a good one Smile

Secondly, all the applicants will have to be screened to get rid of all the would be stalkers, weirdos, psychos etc.

Once that was done the only person who would be left is me Smile since I'm the only one who is not a would be stalker, weirdo, psycho etc Smile

So now there is no need to have a competition because I am the only one who passed the screening test Smile

Unfortunately I am unemployed at the moment and I don't have much money so rachaelleighcook.net will have to pay for all my travel expenses and accomodation etc Smile

Also when I meet rachael she will have to pay for everything. She can give me a makover, buy me new clothes, take me out to dinner etc Smile A nice fancy restaurant would be nice Smile The fanciest restaurant I have ever been to is mac donalds Frown

So TR you can get in touch with rachael and let her know I have won Smile Maybe arrange it for a month or two from now. I need some time to go on a diet to look my best for Rachael Smile You can let me know nearer the time all the details (eg where I am going to meet her, what we will be doing etc). I think a cruise ship would be nice Smile

And on another note, the next dvd I will be buying of rachaels is tempo. Well as soon as I have saved up the money Smile

And I know I've asked this before but does anyone know if rachael will be doing any dvd commentaries on one of her dvds? I'd really like her to do one. I think we should start up a petition and get lots of people to sign it Smile

bye,

colsy Smile

p.s I have started packing my suitcase and have lots of bright flowery shirts, so can it be somewhere tropical? Smile Will I need sun tan lotion? Smile

Actually, I want to have contests once in a while for the site and that has even been discussed. Smile The "Stateside" folk were supposed to send me some grab-bags of goodies to use as giveaways, but they never sent them. Grrr. That would have been fun to hand out through some contest or something. Smile Anyway, there will be something in the future. I have a couple DVD's that I can use as giveaways. How does an autographed DVD or something of that sort sound? Smile Posters? Photos? Is there something in particular you guys would be interested in? Let me know! Smile

Anything signed by the cookster is always good Smile In particular DVD's or Posters Smile

But the main competition we all want is to meet the cookster. And as I said, once you have screened out all the would be stalkers, weirdos, psychos etc, that just leaves me Smile

I was going to go on the atkins diet but apparently that makes your breath smell so I'm just going to start with an exercise bike and take it from there. When is it I'm going to get to meet her TR? Should I dress in a suit or just dress casual?

bye,

colsy Smile

The competition thing is a really nice idea - I'm assuming most folk will think so and as colsy says anything signed by Rachael would be nice.

PS - colsy i'll be your personal trainer and if Rachael comes to Scotland you can introduce us Smile

I think we had a contest awhile back giving out Sally, or the Hi-Line.

If there is a contest, am I eligible? Big Grin

A contest would be cool. Good fun.

She does a partial commentary on he Anti-Trust DVD. There are a few clips of her commenting on the film.

Haha i remember that, I won that prize first. Someone from Creative Light asked a question on the message board. "Why did Rachael choose the role of Laney on Shes All That?...The question was something like that..not exzactly sure.
But I remember i won first prize and I soon recieved through the mail a Hi-Line movie poster and Sally dvd. Smile

I think that after Rachael gets married, there should be a competition for some memmento of her marrage(i.e. an invitation). The winner of this competition will not only have something that is a reminder of Rachael, but the winner also will have the satisfaction of knowing that" I am a fan of Rachael Leigh Cook and can accept the fact that Rachael is married!"

I really like that idea but weddings are usually regarded as private (if not intimate) affairs.
I doubt Rachael would want some random person involved in that Smile

LOL wouldn't an invitation to the wedding be great though? I would find it very hard to stay quiet during the "if anyone blah blah hold their peace" part... real.. real.. hard..

but i would, for her Smile

Well, if she's willing, so am I.. lol

It sucks to be a RLC fan right now.. can't find Bookies or American Crime in Canada.

It looks like blockbuster has Tempo here though, and I haven't seen that yet Smile

We will probably get Stateside too.
