I was just curious if someone here knows any good free movie players that don't have adware attached to them (besides real one, WMP, quicktime). Specifically I was looking for one that allows you to mess with the aspect ratio of movies. I had Radlight (which allowed you to do that), but the huge amounts of ads that came with it made me delete it. Oh, and RLC is the greatest human being to ever grace the face of this planet! Move over Jesus, I have a NEW messiah!!

Classic Media Player is the best free media player. But what you want is powerdvd or windvd. They are not free but you can get them for free if you look around enough. They let you change the aspect ratio, take screen caps, and do just about everything you will need from a media player.

Yeah powerDVD plays everything.
I was fulling around with Media PLayer Classic and I see that it lets you mess around with the aspect ratio. Maybe it will do what you wanted.
