I agree with you there.not so much RLC in there. But she looks so intellect there, I think it's one ofher best sides, considering that her past roles are more teeny and innocent. Great movie, Get it on DVD!
Ps: Hi gang! I'm new here to the post. Hope I can get along fine!

I love the synopsis on the DVD's case:
Ryan Phillipe plays etc etc and does this and that etc etc with the help of his gf (Claire Forlani) "and a sexy programmer (Rachael Leigh Cook)"...

Listen- I think theres alot of rachael- well enough- besides the ending of the movie won't work as good if they included alot of the deleted sections of the tape! I mean she lets on to many clues- and I hate knowing the ending to a suspense movie before hand!!!

One of the things I liked best was that Rachael always seems to get mentioned first of the female cast even though Claire Forlani has WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY more screen time. (Also, it seems that even with her part not being very big, it was noticeable enough that a number of our newer members cite it as a reason they looked up RLC web sites)

You haven't heard of Antitrust, Kariminal? You gotta check it out. It'd be a good flick even if Rachael wasn't in it.
Tim Robbins plays Gary, the head of NURV, which is a big software company under investigation for breaking antitrust laws (think of Microsoft). He's schedueled the release of this software called Synapse which can make any multimedia device communicate with any other device. So people would be able to talk to each other through Palm Pilots and TVs, for example.
Ryan Phillippe is Milo, a brilliant programmer right out of college who gets recruited by NURV to finish writing the code of Synapse. Clare Forlani plays Alice, his girlfriend. Rachael is Lisa, another member of the Synapse team (and by far the hottest) who works with Milo and becomes the one person he feels he can trust.
Once Milo begins working on Synapse, Gary keeps handing him bits of code that seems to come out of nowhere. Coincidentely, young programmers are turning up dead all across the country.
I think you can figure out where the plot goes from there. It's basically Milo trying to prove that there is a connection between NURV and all the deaths. I won't give away anything else after that. Make sure you get the DVD version and watch the deleted scenes. They took out most of Rachael's character development from the feature, but luckily it's in the deleted scenes.
