A bookie is a person who collects money for bets on games and then redistributes it to the winners and of course keep some for themself . There's more but it's hard to explain. Also it's illegal.

1. Well you asked about what a bookie is so I told you.

2. The bets are on almost anything that can have winner. I.e. racehorses,football,baseball,ect.

oh well yes obviously that stuff but i thought since someone talked about it on here that we were betting on some Rachael thing and i had no idea what it could possibly be... so obviously i am wrong, okay well THANKS...

Too bad I live more than 3000 east of Park City, it would have been a nice birthday gift for me to see this one...
