Just seen the new Spiderman film: which is very good. It also gave me my first look at Daniel. I have to say (I know he was playing a part) but he did seem very arrogant to me. And to say Rachael said she didn't like guys who were prettier than her seemed funny when I saw how full of himself Daniel seemed. Please god don't let Rachael be one of the many great women who fall for the wrong guy: like all of them seem to do

Rachael isn't an opportunist like JLo(Jennifer Lopez).Rachael doesn't seem to have any major issues with low self-esteem, so as long as Danny-boy doesn't become a cheating bastard the two could actually have a long nuptual.

well yeah daniel cool and all but i was hopeing to be the one to marry her, it was a life goal heh but yeah good luck to her cause shes the best.........

I think its great, every picture of them together you can see how happy he makes her written all over her face. Its cute, and it seems like she's made a good decision, so I'm happy for her.

Daniel seemed OK in Spider-Man 2, he just didn't get much screen time. However, as any fan of your friendly neighborhood wallcrawler would know, John Jameson (astronaut son of the beloved J. Jonah Jameson of the Daily Bugle) ends up as a werewolf thanks to a moon rock he brings back from one of his missions. He doesn't become a bad guy, just wreaks some havoc trying to control himself.
Now, I don't know if that will mean they'll ever tackle this in any of the film versions, BUT I did see that they said the actor they cast as Professor Curt Connors was an important casting choice for the franchise. So maybe Daniel was as well (either that or they just wanted to use another character that already exists in the Spidey universe). Who really knows...only Sam Raimi and Avi Arad. But maybe, just maybe, RLC's guy could end up with a meaty role in this franchise that seems like it is going to be the biggest ever if it keeps going like this (over Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter, etc.).
