Any movie starring Rachael is worth my attention. However with the following co-stars its extra cool: Female: Natalie Portman - two awesome actresses [hot chicks], how could this be bad? Better yet, how could it NOT be fabulous? Male: Tim Roth - Tim is an amazing character actor, if you don't know who he is, look him up on IMDb. tubayoyo: Kirsten would be a good choice too

I kinda think this question depends on what kinda film you'd like to see her in. I'd like to see a role before I think "oh, this person would be perfect with Rachael". This question really seems to be asking who our favourite actors (now a non-gender specific term) are more than anything else.
I don't think a Nat Portman/RLC combo would nessesarily work, except for the eye candy effect. There's got to be a better contrast between them.

yeah, it is pretty much a favorite actor/actress type question, but not really also. I mean, the two I listed definately aren't my favorites, but I think it would be pretty cool to see a good movie with one of them and rachel.

Okay then, well I'd like to have her onscreen with Gina Gershwin. Is that out of the blue enough for you?

Actually, Rachael did a movie with Kirsten Dunst several years ago called, "Strike!" When I saw it in the theatre, it was still called, "The Hairy Bird", though. I was in the 1st test audience for it. How cool is that! I was really lucky! The movie was released again as "All I Wanna Do" last year. (The DVD is out there; I have one.) I should mention that Monica Keena was also in it. Rachael also worked again with Monica Keena when she guest-stared on "Dawson's Creek." Someone mentioned Seth Green; even though it wasn't a staring role, Seth plays a tiny part in "Josie and the Pussycats" as a member of the ill-fated boy band, "Du Jour." Gotta love that name! LOL! I think that about covers things. -TR

Ben, I'd have to disagree. Natalie Portman, though hot, is an amazing actress. She and Rachael could offer a film much more than eye candy.
I guess the question could be construed as a "Who are your favorite actors/actresses?" question, but my responses were people who I feel have more than proven their acting ability, rather than people who Hollywood has deemed 'IN'.

it think RLC should do a moive with either natalie portman or wynona ryder cuz they are constantly being compared and a moive with them together would really show some contrast between them.

Hehe. I knew you'd come in on that one, Chaos. You did put what seemed a qualifying statement of "[hot chicks]" in your original post though.
I think the kind of actor you put into the film would greatly depend on what type of film you actually wanted to see. I'd like to see Rachael in a kinda darker, more responsable role rather than with another young actress which would skew it well towards a teen audience. (Yeah, sure, she's 21, but you know what I mean.) So I'm sticking with my Gina Gershon pick (the spelling of which I orignally hacked to pieces - hurrah!) plugged in as a kinda mentor role.

I think her comedic talents have not been tapped yet. When she appears on talk shows she's really upbeat, all smiles, etc... A total contrast to all the roles she's portrayed in the past: sullen, pouty, brooding, even in She's All That. Team her with someone? Maybe Seth Green. I thought he was funny as hell in Can't Hardly Wait. Maybe they could really play off each other. Who knows? I ain't no casting agent.

TR, yeah my imagination with the help from some hormones can with ease create a feminists worst nightmare I also doubt it would ever happen but one can allways dream about it, right btw, isen't "get carter" some sort of action? hmmm, perhaps they should do a sequel to crouching tiger, hidden dragon. it could be called crouching Danomite hidden rachael or something. hmmm, na. perhaps not. they should hire clinton and monica for that one [Edited by Danomite on March 20, 2001]

Yeah, Get Carter was a bit action, but she had no part of it. She was just endearing instead - purely emotional rather than physical. (Yes, physical stirs the emotions too [apparently particularly during lesbian scenes for you, Danomite ], but you know what I mean.)
