I remember reading somewhere that the late great Lisa Lopez a.k.a Left Eye of TLC was up for the part of Val in Josie and the Pussycats, but that Rachael was afraid of her. Don't tell me that Rachael didn't give Lisa a chance because Lisa had some bad press clippings(i.e. she was accused of setting fire to the house of a boyfriend who cheated on her). I think Lisa was just as hot as Rosario Dawson and Lisa was very talented musically. I didn't realize how talented Lisa was until I heard that she was the the producer of the group Blaque which sang AS IF from Bring It On which in which Gabrielle Union from She's All That was one of the stars.
