Does anybody know how to save pictures when a site won't let you? I know TR managed to get pictures from a site like that before somehow. There are some really cool clippings of Rachael on ebay but when I right click to save them a window pops up that says Good Luck. Any help would be much appreciated! smile

I'm pretty sure TR used a capture program to get the pics from that site that wouldn't let you save. I sent him a zip file containing the actual source files, but I don't know if he got it. There's a few ways to go about it. Mostly you have to look at the site using a program other than a browser. Or sometimes you might be able to look at the code and figure out where the picture file is and use another program to download it. I'm pretty sure it's always possible to get at the file, you just have to know how.

The eBay page has a simple JavaScript which detects a right-mouse click. VERY easy to get around. I'm posting the pics below for you, which you should be able to d/l. smile

There are two ways to get around those people anal enough to disable the right-click menu.

The first is to simply do a screen capture and take the picture that way. It's just as good as the original.

The second is to grab the code of the page (go to view then source in your main menu) and look at what the URL of the image is, then type it into your browser.

It's probably possible to turn off javascript, too.
