Have you every watched a movie so many times that you start to notice really little things that are funny. That's what happened to me. Here are some of the little things that I noticed in JATP.

When the black Carson Daly comes out and says to Melody and Val "Of course I'm Carson, check the nails" you can see the Melody kinda goes "Oh, he is Carson" with her head. I thought that was kinda funny smile

When Josie and Val are eating ramin at the table and Josie says "you know your fly is open" the noodle of ramin falls of her chopsticks, then she brings the chopsticks closer to her mouth, then she realizes that the noodle isn't there anymore. OOh, Rachael got broke! smile

Anyone got any others? I'll post more when I find mor funny stuff.

Well I just noticed not too long ago that when they're at the table eating Ramin, Melody is eating with her Drumsticks instead of chopsticks

Watch for the continuity errors on that scene. Items move around the table all the time.

Have you noticed how many times those gold Ford Explorer SUVs appear in the first part of the movie.

I have seen that movie about a hundred times, and now I can't help but notice mistakes in it every time I watch it. Too many to write down, but things like...
1. Several times, Josie doesn't hit a note which is played from her guitar.
2. When eating the noodles, the camera pans across the table showing the girls hands. Josie is eating with her left hand, Val with her right and Mel also with her right. When the camera shows a whole view of them at the table, Mel is eating with her other hand.
3. In starbucks, Whyatt says to them, I thought you were a band wanting to sign with a major label. my mistake..., and all of the people at the table put up their hands as if to say "no, wait!" we see that Josie has stuck up her left hand. when the next camera angle shows josie closer up, she is still holding out her hand, except that it is her right hand, not her left.
4. When the girls leave the John Frieda make-up scene, they stop to admire a huge billboard of themselves.
a- how can they just come out of being first made 'pretty' only to see themselves covered in makeup on a billboard?
b- how can Josie be holding the white Samick guitar which she hasn't even received yet??
5. In the scene where the pussycats play 'spin around' at the stadium gig, josie is singing...then when Alan M begins to declare his love for josie, she steps away from the mike to shout at him.
a- why would she step away to talk to him if she was standing in front of a microphone anyway
b- how can her voice be just as loud without the microphone as it was when she was singing with the mike??
6. it looks like Rachael has put her guitar pick on the guitar fretboard for that scene, because when she goes to continue singing, as the song is about to start she goes up the fretboard to pull it out and continue playing. but in doing this she misses the first note of the guitar part which still plays in the song, and messes up the lyrics aswell.
And this is not a mistake, but...
In the scene where Fiona says to Josie backstage at their concert something about going back to sh*tdale with her friends mopey and dopey bear, Josie says "thats it!", removes her ears and dives on Fiona. several camera angles capture Rachael diving off that platform, but if you watch it it slo motion or frame by frame, you will notice that the angle which shows "josie" landing on fiona is so obviously a stunt double because you can see their face. and fair enough, stunt double, no complaints. but the stunt double is clearly of an asian origin, you cant help but find it funny!!
hmm...i think i have either seen that movie too many times, or just have too much time on my hands.....

About the fighting scene, you are right. In slow-mo, you really notice the stunt girls !!!

How about the sneaker/sandal switcheroo in front of Wyatt's van ????

Or the fact that in the beginning of the "good ramen" scene, Mel has an empty bowl and she has a full one in the next scene, ready to put soy sauce ???

And just still wondering how come Josie had such a big voice to speak to Alan M. in the concert in the middle of a loud crowd ???

Things that remind us that it is just a cartoon movie...

I realized this one last night after watching it for the 12th time; When they are all in the room talking about what songs to play for the show, Val is looking at all the things that have Josie on them and she looks out the window at the blimp and it is night. Then Wyatt comes in and says they are taping TRL in 2 hours. They tape TRL durring the day, not at night.

Yeah well that didn't actually go to TRL now did they wink Well I know what you mean.

During the concert in the end right after Josie finishs talking to Alan M, Josie does a little slide thing on her guitar, right after the slide thing, she strums the guitar on the wrong end, not the end where the hummbuckers are, the end where the head and the nut are. I mean what's up with that? Umm Rachael, you can't play guitars like that. I guess she really doesn't know how to play the guitar. Ohh, Rachael got broke again! smile

Teehee, my turn wink... actually, You can play the guitar like that. Because the pickups get vibrations from the strings and as long as she made the strings move, then it should have made a sound. wink

My thory on that is that she was getting her plectrum. When she first calls Alan M the plectrum is in her hand but later in the scene she is no longer holding it. I suspect she put in near the top of the neck of the guitar.

Is she hitting the guitar above her left hand on the neck? If she is then you are right (Amdabes) you can't really get much of a sound. But maybe she is getting her pick.

Actually, you can. wink I've done it too. It can give a somewhat different sound strumming there. smile

Well of course it's possible to play like that, just like it's possible to play a trumpet backwards. If you play on the other side of your left hand, sound will come out, but it wont be the same chord as if you would have strumed it on the correct side. That way she played it, she played much higher note than she was supposed to, and it definalty wasn't the right chord played that way, yet in the movie, it sounded correct. Movies roll eyes

And I don't think she was getting her pick, she actually played a chord. And I don't think Rachael is coordinated enough to get her pick from the fretboard and stum a chord all in one stroke.

I just got done watching "Josie and the Pussycats" and discovered a mistake at the recording studio part. When they were singing "Pretend to be Nice" at the beginning Mel did not hit the crash cymbal to start off the song. Instead she goes directly to the snare and start playing the song.

Hmm, maybe you're right, I'll have to watch it again, but my friends borrowing the DVD so sometime later. It looked to me like she was strumming a note but I my have been mistaken.
