This is the first time I saw the poster and synopsis, good find! I like the Audrey Hepburnish photo. The movie sounds pretty cliched.I work at a movie theater, so I can see movies for free. I would pay to see this, though, if I did not work at the theater, to support Rachael. Otherwise I would wait to rent it.

WOO I work at a theater too. Hopefully we'll be getting posters and promotions for it soon

I hope that My First Wedding doesn't have a limited release, therefore being shown only in New York and LA. I have heard any mention of the film other than this posting. I am fearful that this movie IS going to be in limited release or even worse go straight to video/DVD.

Wow! Im excited to watch that movie....

i wish i could saw that film in theatres if it is a limited release it's hard to find, hard to watch for me. Anyone has further updates tell us...

According to the Hollywood Stock Exchange My First Wedding will be released on Feb.28 2006 HSX didn't say, thought, if the release is to be limited or general, I assume it will be limited, it would be a miracle if a Rachael indy were to have a general release!

Rachael Leigh Cook is to star in romantic comedy My First Wedding, which
starts shooting in Montreal next week. The actress said the film is "about
the lengths that you'll go to for the person you love, and all the
misadventures that will follow you". She compared the comedy to "a Billy
Wilder movie, really off the wall. That's where my tastes have been lying
recently, and I've just developed an affinity for the out of whack stuff.
You know, everybody I really respect for their careers says these days, ‘I
just want to do something different.’ And I hope to stay on that path."

Since this is a comedy I bet the sex scenes won't be as good as the scene in "11:14" in which Rachael's character is having sex in a graveyard, although it is comical. That scene proves that Rachael is so talented and sexy, she can have her closes on and still be sexually arousing!
