I have, awesome movie. Great actors, Tim Robbins just plays a great bad guy(see Arlington Road). The plotline was great. And being a fellow computer geek the subject matter was something I really enjoyed. I suggest you all go out and see it. I did, at the very first showing of the day. smile

Sweet deal man, I saw it at the 1:45 showing, I liked it a lot. Not enough Rachael but I would recommend it. I'll be buying that DVD when it comes out. smile

I may write up a review for the filmography section soon.

yeah I agree not enough rachael. it was cool though. I took my roomate and he is a programmer so he kept picking out differnent parts that were "unrealistic" but I told him to chill out it's just a movie - remember entertainment? ah well. but ig you are a rachael fan - she looks especially gorgious in this one. -neu

Agreed on Rachael's looks; the programming wasn't all that unrealistic, it's mostly all stuff that's possible. But they will always have some glamorizations so that it's a little more interesting than writing bank software or hello world. smile

As my dad likes to say, you're only limited by your imagination. So yeah, no matter what level programmer you are, it's all conceivable. it was all html and java, which I found amusing, but that's ok. And did I actually see PC's on a movie screen? I thought Mac's had some contract in hollywood.

< !-- BEGIN RANT -->

The problem with critics is that they are fucking idiots.

The person who made that quote most likely has no idea how to run a webserver or a website. If he's lucky he could come up with a decent title for his bashing though. That was something that several others couldn't. I read at least three reviews today with titles such as "Antitrust logged on but didn't connect". That is an absolutely gay title. How do you log on, but not connect if a connection is required to log on?

Plain and simple these critics are criticising the actors for spouting off jargon which they dont understand and the critics don't even understand what the jargon means.

< !-- END RANT -->

I just think critics refuse to give the newcomer actors like Phillipe props. They'll say something like "Tim Robbins is the only person that keeps the movie afloat." None of those guys like the new teeny-bopper age of actors.
