frownCan you guys give me an advice of what to do? This has something to do with RLC.
I’ve been day roll eyesdreaming all day long about RLC, always watching SAT and JATP everyday, listening to different soundtracks of RLC movies like “Kiss Me”, and printed about less than 50 pictures of RLC. confusedI can’t control myself, I swear. I keep doing this all the time. Sometimes when I’m talking with my friends, I don’t pay attention to it because all I think about is RLC. confusedWhat is happening to me? We’ll I guess that RLC truly hit me right through my heart. You can say anything you want to say about me like “OVERACTING fan, DIE-HARD fan, etc. its all right with me. I even cried when I heard for the first time the song “You Don’t See Me” from JATP. I’m telling the truth. I know you all guys will big grinHELP:D me out about this OBSESSION.
-Mark

So if I dids something wrong please tell me I wanna understand, Coz I don't want this love to ever end.

I would suggest going outside and meeting a girl that knows who you are. If your area is anything like mine there are hot women everywhere.

Also, you might wish to refrain from listening to the JATP soundtrack. wink

perhaps you should really try to leave your rachael-temple and meet some "real" girls.
depending on your age, this is probably the normal way of life, we all got through roll eyes

try out the reality, it could probably heal you wink

There is probably only 3 options!

1. Find a good psychiatrist(or how its spelled :P)
2. Meet some REAL LIFE girls!
3. Live in your RLC-obsession and die happily at the age of 60 having no clue what happened the last 40 years, besides what RLC was doing!

I would choose number 2... As a wise man once said here on the board... There are lots of bautiful women everywhere... well almost everywhere!

The same thing happened to me, maybe not quite like whats happening to you but If I were you I'd try to do things that don't make u think of Rachael. Like get hooked into a video game
Try metting a girl, they're fun to hang around with that always take my mind off of her
IF all fails, then you may be TRULY in love with her. If you REALLY want her then I'd try contacting her in everyway possible smile

Hi Mark,

The bad news is you have an Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.

The good news is they are fairly easy to cure... you can even do it on your own. Here's a site:

http://www.ocfoundation.org/

They got lots of good information.

I had an OCD when I was a kid -- mine was compulsive hair-pulling! It was really miserable but what I learned while I got cured amazed me. What is odd is that Rachael's movie JATP's sub-plot is... putting OCD's in people's heads!

An Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is sometimes called "brain lock" because what happens is you're brain is locked in on a fixation, sort of like stuck in gear. It's normal to have fixations; but sometimes the brain don't know when to "let go" and it needs some help.

You probably just need to read a bit on the subject and you'll be fine. The fact that you wondered if you were alright or not means you are not delusional. For that the French actually have a drug called Luvox (It's used as and anti-depressant too). For my hair-pulling I was on an old type anti-depressant for about 6 months and it went away with a bit of counselling.

Don't think it's abnormal to like movie stars or anything. It's a matter of degree. Once you're aware of it, you'll put it all in perspective. It's not as difficult as it seems.

Good luck!

Walking around wanting what you cant get wont do you any good, and if it's any constillation, she'd probably reject you (this is in fact a good thing when trying to get over someone, knowing that you're rejected) razz

So, the next weekend, get drunk, go out for drinks with close friends, and get some action, and you'll be over RLC in no time.

There is nothing wrong with you Mark
It's call being in love big grin
Don't try to stop it, enjoy it.
It's when you think about the person all the
time...When you have her voice intonation
in you're head...The way she move etc...
It work with movie star and it work with
the girl you're gone to meet
It's a lot of fun when somebody fall in love
with you...She get obsess with you and think
about you...If Rachael made you fall in love with
her it's because she's good at what she does big grin

Etienne is right, you'll get over it in no time. Just relax, enjoy it and find something to put your mind on smile

I think that when most of the board members got to know RLC (not personally of course smile ) it had some kind of shock-effect on their emotional beings. Some people only got real interested en some fell in love like mad. It doesn't matter, I think in all cases it stabilizes to a certain level.

Mark.. I dont know how old you are..

But i'm very obsessed by Rachael...

But it's nothing compared to how i felt when i fell in love... Which has happened twice.. and im actually hunting one of them right now wink

An Obsession is a great thing (mostly). But nothing compared to real world love!

I think I'm not in the state of OCD because sometimes I can control myself of doing such RLC things razz. But most likely to occur to me is listening to any RLC soundtrack.(especially JATP soundtrack) razz

Being in LOVE is such a great feeling in your life. When LOVE comes in your way smile, grab the opportunity. But when LOVE goes away frown, so be it.
Thanks. wink
