Last winter I was a Bill Calhoun double (or study, as they are official called) in Kiss Me Kate, which was quite an experience... There were tons of celebs that came to see it, it was tight. Anywayz, I wouldn't right to her home address, I think that might scare her...

ing the internet to find her home address, being in love with her, wanting to smell her, telling her they're meant for each other, etc., then there might be a problem, 'cause all of that's a LITTLE weird. The key is to not come across as a stalker and make sure that she's comfortable with receiving mail from strangers at her home address. That's an important thing. Make sure you ask her if it's okay. Tell her that you won't send anything more there if she doesn't want you to. You could even ask her for a better place to send things so that she'd be able to receive them and NOT get freaked out.

Just handle the situation properly and everything should be okay... and if you do end up sending her a movie, make sure it's one that's not, like, TOO bizarre... that might freak her out a little, too.

no no no no ... i think it is a horrible idea to send something to her home address. the issue isn't so much as her thinking you're a stalker as it is her *privacy*. there's a reason people like her set up fan clubs - she deserves a private life. i know that sending "one" movie to her doesn't seem like such an invasion of privacy, but just imagine how exposed you'd feel if you were getting mail and packages from people you didn't know ... there has to be some sanctuary where her public life is walled off from her private life. that place should be her home.

i know it sucks, but maybe there's just no way to get her to see your tape. it might seem unfair, but it's not as if anyone has a right to her personal attention. if she has no problem doing things like that, i'm sure she asks the people at her fan club to set things aside, etc., for her to take a look at. if she tells them to throw stuff like that out, then there's your answer - she doesn't want it.

that having been said, i hope you send it to her fan club address and she watches it and falls in love with it and your life is a smashing success. period.

My advice: Don't send anything to Rachael's home address. (Even if you could figure it out.) If you want to send something, send it to the fan mail address. Wouldn't you be a bit freaked if you were her and fans started mailing you at home? I know I would.

Hopefully after I finish shooting this new movie (yes, it will be a theatere film and yes it has some big time celebritys in it, but unforunitly not rachael :-(), I might have my own fan club address!

RobMontu, thats sounds pretty funny, it kind of reminded me of my first movie I showed to my class, the teacher said "It better not be porn", It kinda was. In the movie barbie was going down on Ken... oh boy, you don't want to know anymore about that one. Of course I'm not gonna send her that movie, I'm probably gonna send her this movie I'm working on right now, wich actualy Rosario Dawson's distant cousin is in it. He plays as one of the people who dress up as Jesus.

Guys: TR and Captain Monterey Jack are right. Don't go looking for her home address to send stuff to her, it's all about privacy. The address to send stuff to her is in the FAQ section.

William sent her a drawing and he got it back with a personal message. This proves that if you send something special she'll see it and you'll probably get a reply as well (if you request one). Don't loose faith.

Yeah, I know what you all mean. I wasn't really ADVOCATING that he send it directly to her, but I said that it'd probably be one of the only ways he could be sure she'd even watch it at all.

As for getting packages from strangers in the mail, I get some from time to time and it kinda freaks me out, too, even though I'm not famous (yet... hehe...) or anything, so I know exactly what you mean. I respect the privacy of others and I agree wholeheartedly with what you are saying, but what I meant was that there's no guarantee that the response you'd get (if any) would be from her and not from some assistant of some sort if you just send it to some 3rd party mail sorting service thingy...
