Nope, I'm sure I watched the season opener. The plotline on NBC.com for the opener matched what I watched. I don't know why it was on a day earlier than advertised... prehaps Canada got it a day early? The episode on tonight is the same as last nights.

I guess I was wrong. That is wierd that you saw the season opener a day earlier, even more wierd that Rachael wasn't mentioned at all as being in any upcomming episodes! I doubt that this is the reason, but it is almost like Rachael is being punished for being in Josie and straight-to-DVD movies! What a Catch-22 if Rachael is being punished since it is because of Hollywood's not distributing her movies that they have been going straight-to-DVD!

I Tivo'd the "Las Vegas" season premier episode last night, and I didn't really watch it. However, I didn't see RLC, and she wasn't credited. If you check IMDB.com,
http://imdb.com/name/nm0000337/
it says in her TV appearances:
"Las Vegas" playing "Penny Posin" in episode: "Double Down, Triple Threat" (episode # 3.3) 3 October 2005.

So it looks like she doesn't appear until the third episode of the season.

UPDATE:
tdfuego is mostly correct. Rachael will appear in a five episode story-arc actually starting with the second episode of the season. Smile Penny (Rachael) makes a brief appearance in the second episode, which then leads into her arc. Rachael appears more in the episodes that follow the second one. Look for Rachael next week, gang! Smile

There she was, in all her glory, during the last minute of episode 2.

Heaven help me ... she makes me melt.

I guess since she plays the new owner, that's why Lara Flynn Boyle was given so much hype. I still feel that LFB is just a hack actress whose only major feat was to make females feel too fat if their bones weren't showing. Rachael deserves some hype, but she had the nerve to be in movies that were either mainstream and bearly seen or independent and bearly seen. Moral of the story, sit on your ass and give the appearance of promoting eating disorders and you will go far in Hollywood.

Thanks for the news for the Canadian fans too, Claude. Smile

I just wanted to remind everyone that Rachael appears on Las Vegas again tomorrow evening, so be sure to tune in! Smile Her part will definitely be larger than her brief introduction at the end of the last episode. Wink

Danny just met Penny at the end of the last episode of "Las Vegas", and by the end of the special cross-over episode of "Crossing Jordan", he's already cheating on Penny with Jordan. That slutty bastard! Wink

The nbc.com synopsis of tomorrow night's "Las Vegas" episode says: "Lara Flynn Boyle, Nikki Cox, Rachel Leigh Cook and Molly Sims also star." So RLC gets billing before Molly Sims! Oh, OK, so it almost goes alphabetically. Smile

Danny, you slutty bastard! You just tried to bed Jordan in the lobby, and like one minute later, you're groovin' on Penny in your new condo.
Save some for the rest of us! ... I mean ... other characters... HA!

From next week's "Las Vegas" episode--
Danny to Penny: "I can't get you out of my mind."

True, so true.

It depends--if the show does well enough, then NBC might repeat episodes in mid-season, especially if the episode has a big guest star.

In the opening scene of tonight's episode, Danny and Penny are in bed. I'm so jealous of Danny, that man-*****! Razz

Is Penny ever gonna get more than about five lines per episode?

GOSH!

Anybody still have tonight's "Las Vegas" episode recorded? At the end of the episode, the credits start with an associate producer and a couple of other people, then there is an "Also starring..." page (?--I don't know what you call a flash of credits) with one person, and then two pages of "Co-starring...".

Then I went back to the beginning, and only the regular stars and the show's creator are credited.

I didn't see RLC credited at all.
Confused
Then I double-checked.
Then I triple-checked.
RLC is not credited.
Mad
Then I noticed that Lara Flynn Boyle was also not credited.
Colby Donaldson was also not credited.
I think that they ran the ad for the Pussycat Dolls CD where the guest starring credits should have been.

Somebody call the Screen Actors Guild!
Eek
