Rachael is slated to attend the premiere for "Bringing Down the House" tomorrow at The El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. Smile If you are in the area, maybe you can catch a photo of/with Rachael, or possibly an autograph. Smile For those of you not in the area, look for some pics from the premiere online, afterwards, and let me know if you find any. Wink

Geocites doesn't allow linking to their images. That is why you couldn't directly link to the image from here. Smile

Hope her optometrist was standing by...that "lazy eye" is kickin in!

TR - Is she wearing contacts? She'd better check the prescription if she is.

Also, alot of people who have that problem don't realize that wearing contacts all the time contributes to it. A lazy eye is helped much more by taking contacts out as soon as possible and putting on glasses. I used to have a really bad lazy eye, but I started taking my contacts out as soon as I was home for the evening, and wearing glasses the rest of the night, and the difference is unbelievable! Something about glasses causing alot less stress on the eyes than contacts, per my doc.

(Note: This post, along with most posts written by this screename, is intended as sarcasm. If you begin to take things I say seriously, please seek medication.)

Yes, she is wearing contacts, but I think you are making a bit much out of the "lazy eye" thing. I don't agree that it is very visible in those photos. I know well about the whole "lazy eye" issue because I have the same thing. My eye used to get a lil "lazy" when I would "stare off and daydream" because my mother (or someone) would yell at me when they saw it, ("STOP THAT!" lol) but otherwise it wasn't ever noticable. Over time, it has improved, as you talked about; now it basically never happens. In the end, I also sometimes notice her "lazy eye", but I think it has also gotten better over the years. Smile

I never noticed until you pointed it out.

Must be my lazy eye.

Don't hate me for this, Rachael... hehe

Here is a shot that somewhat shows the lazy eye thing, so you can see what everyone is talking about:

I hope I didn't embarass her with that. lol Wink

As you can tell, you don't normally see it; it is something that creeps up only once in a blue moon. Same thing that used to happen to me. (If it still happens, I don't notice and nobody tells me.) Anyway, Rachael's eye doesn't appear to do it as much as it used to. (even since the Australia trip) Smile

Her eyes aren't "lazy"...
That is a physical phenomenon which is very normal. Hold one of your forefingers in front of your left eye, and look with both eyes on it. Then close and open your eyes rotarory. You'll see that the left eye looks straight forward and the right eye "squints" leftward... If you can't see it, take a mirror or ask a friend about your eyes in that position Smile

Well, that pic is just one example. Trust me that it has been known to happen in regular situations that don't involve that "in your face" effect. Wink
