Yup, it's true. I was just coming to post this news, but it looks like you already know it. Wink The movie is called, Nancy Drew: The Mystery in Hollywood Hills, as the article mentions. Smile

I'll rename this topic and move it to the "News & Info" section. Thanks for the speedy post, Ibiechan. Smile

Well, then again, Rachael in a classic American heroine story. Nancy Drew is still very fond.

I'll keep an eye on this Wink

Here is the IMDb link for the new movie. Rachael isn't listed in the credits yet, but I'm sure she will be added soon. Smile

Also, nina found a link to an article with a tad bit more info about this project. Smile Thanks, nina. Smile

For some reason, IMDb still doesn't list her charcter name, but she is playing the role of an actress named Jane Brighton. Smile I'll prod IMDb to update this.

She plays the woman (who is also a mommy) that gives Nancy the job, basically. Smile

I just think it is fun that Rachael is starting to get roles where she can be old enough to be a mommy. Wink

FYI...In Entertainment Weekly's summer movie preview issue, RLC is listed second after Emma Roberts in the listing of actors in the film, but then she is not mentioned at all in the few paragraphs written about the film

It's wierd, she always gets high billing in the movies she is in, so either has a decent agent or fellow movie people respect her, but she doesn't seem to get considered for more highly visible projects

when I first heard she was attached, I automatically thought she was the lead. She is only supporting here, and isn't featured prominately in the poster which is always a telling sign.

Nah, Rachael couldn't be the lead. Smile Remember that Nancy Drew is a teenager. Granted that Rachael could likely pull off a teen role if she had to. Wink She's past doing those roles, though.

Remember though, non of the Adult actors are featured on the poster just the names of them, this tells us the movie is aimed at a younger audience

Of course it's aimed at a younger audience. It's Nancy Drew, for crying out loud.
