Just a tidbit on a possible new project for Rachael was reported at darkhorizons.com
29 Palms: Rachael Leigh Cooke will join Chris O'Donnell, Michael Rappaport and Jeremy Davies on the ensemble flick about a large sack of money and how it effects those who obtain it. Shooting begins later this month. |

Written by Tino Lucente, "29 Palms" is described as a dark thriller about a bag of money and the parties that come into contact with it. Micheal Lerner, Keith David and John Polito also star in the project. Alliance Atlantis Motion Pictures Distribution president Patrice Theroux brought the project to the company, which will hold worldwide rights to the feature. Domestic distribution has yet to be secured. Bryan Lord, Davis Classics' J. Todd Harris and Alliance Atlantis' Marc Forby are producing. Rapaport will segue into producing for the first time in his career, taking on executive producing duties on "29 Palms" through his production company, Release Entertainment. Craig Davis Roth and Michael Lindenbaum are co-producing. O'Donnell's production company, George Street Pictures, is expected to receive producing credits on the project as well. Cook, repped by United Talent Agency and Strong/Morrone, next stars in Universal Pictures' "Josie and the Pussycats," Miramax Films' "Texas Rangers" and the indie feature "Tangled." O'Donnell, repped by CAA, most recently starred in "Vertical Limit." Rapaport, repped by Innovative Artists, is before the cameras in the indie feature "A Cold Day in August." Davies, repped by Endeavor and manager Perri Kipperman, is scheduled to segue from "Palms" to the indie feature "Secretary." |
