Meet the Young Walkers: Joe Jonas to Guest Star on Brothers & Sisters
By KRISTIN DOS SANTOS

Did you ever think to yourself: That Joe Jonas sure bears an uncanny resemblance to Balthazar Getty?

No? Well, apparently, the producers over at Brothers & Sisters have, because, although there's no official word yet from ABC, inside sources tell me Joe will be playing a younger version of Balthazar's character, Tommy, in a two-episode flashback arc that focuses on the history of the Walker family.

So who else has been cast as the other Walkers? Well, you'll never guess who Rachael Leigh Cook is in contention to play...

A young Nora Walker, aka Sally Field.

According to sources on the show, Cook has auditioned for the role, but no final decision has been made on young Nora's casting. Also in the running for Nora are Courtney Ford (known as Trinity's illegitimate daughter Christina from Dexter and Brandon Routh's real-life wife) and attention Grey's Anatomy fans, Nora Zehetner (who played Stinkerbell on season one of Heroes and who is now Alex's love interest on Grey's).

First Look: 'Brothers and Sisters' Siblings in the '80s

March 20, 2010 02:41:40 GMT

In a flashback episode, a secret that William's nemesis, Dennis York, holds about the Walker clan will be exposed.

ABC has released a bunch of stills from the flashback episode of "Brothers & Sisters" which will air on Sunday, April 11. The Walker siblings are portrayed by younger actors in this special episode which takes place in 1986 when William Walker was alive and well.

Called "Time After Time", the episode will be two-hour long and divided into two parts. Executive Producer David Marshall Grant told EW that the episode will go back to three different time periods and expose a "shocking and transformative" secret about the Walker family.

Cody Longo is portraying young Tommy after Joe Jonas backed out of the project. Kay Panabaker is Kitty, Anna Wood is Sarah, Kasey Campbell is Kevin and Dylan Thomas Larsen is Justin. The photos of the Walker parents are not yet released but allegedly Nora will be portrayed by either Rachael Leigh Cook, Courtney Ford or Nora Zehetner.

hi everybody,

The only reason i DON'T want Rachael to get this job is that Sally Field looks a lot like MY mom.

It would be just plain creepy. Oedipus-like creepy, or a more recent example, Marty McFly and Lorraine Baines style creepy.

What's wrong with that? At age 60something, Sally Field can still do "cute"...bet RLC will still be cute as she ages too...
