"Texas Rangers" is now available for purchase on DVD. smile (Region 1) If you can't find it, you can always get it from Amazon.com or other similar sites.

If you are looking for much Rachael footage, you might be disappointed, though; she has a very small role.

I would say that the film is for diehard fans of Rachael and/or brain candy action ficks like Red Dawn. The action is great, but the diologue and the fact that James Van der Beek and Aston Kucher are in it ruin it. It could have been called "Dude, Who Betrayed the Texas Rangers and Helped In The Kidnapping of the Father of the Girl I Want To Be Mine?"
Also, the people who made the behind the scenes documentary forgot the "E" in Rachael's name.

Anyway, we see too little of Rachael here. frown I assume she shot that because James Van Der Beek referred her since her act in "Dawson's Creek". And wasn't very much aware of her overnight success with "She's All That".

To be honest, It wasn't that bad. Could have been worst. I rate it with a "Western-era" War Movie. We know that John Milius co-wrote the script (it was butchered as he says...), and we know him to do war movies like "Conan the Barbarian" and "Farewell to the King", as well as writing "Apocalypse Now" for Francis Ford Coppola.

Conclusion: not a great movie, average. I've seen worst before...

If it would have been worst, I would have heard a line given from Ashton Kutcher to Dylan McDermott like this: "DUDE, WHERE'S MY BULLETS ?"

He would have answer: "SO WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN "THAT 1875'S MOVIE" ???

James Van Der Beek would have add: "WE'LL LEAVE YOU IN THE NEXT RIVER, "DAWSON'S CREEK"...

Kutcher would finish: "BETTER LEAVE ME AT THE DUKES'RANCH. THERE'S A GIRL I LIKE... CUZ "SHE'S ALL THAT" !"
