I am in the the process of getting DSL, I can't wait until I finally get it for it took about an hour for the video to load up. Rachael is smokin' hot!Her "Flashdance"-style crop top and waist hugging jeans are so sexy!
SPOILER BELOW if you have not seen the video yet! I tend to be overanalytical, but I see this video as an answer to my posting about Rachael and her doing indies. She had to go through a brothel to get to her goal. She was alone and enjoying the freedom, but eventually the prostitutes joined her. Is she saying that during the late ninties and early 2000's that she felt like she was going through the "brothel" of mainstream Hollywood,but by doing indies she feels free? Does she feel that her contempararies have prostituted themselves and that they will eventually enjoy freedom by joining her in doing indies? Then again this could just be about a fan of a new rock group that has to pay its dues by performing in the basement of a brothel. Like I said before I tend to overanalyze.  |

I keep forgetting to mention this, but it appears that we will likely never see this video on MTV, after all. The band contacted me a while back with some sad news.
 Unfortunately, the band recently had some member changes, and this now makes the Monkey video irrelevant. The band did show the video at one of their shows several weeks ago, since they are still pleased with it and wanted to share it with the fans. Anyway, it's a shame that it won't get any television airplay, after all, but it is still nice that Rachael fans were able to see it online. -TR |

PS: Sorry for double posting, but does anyone know if it's in any way possible to get hold of their album? That song rocks! I tried an Amazon.com search and got nothing.

hey guys. Found this board while surfing for stuff on Poets and Pornstars (huge fan). I MET RACHAEL. She is awesome. i was an extra in the Poets music video and she was totally cool to everyone, really friendly and even MORE gorgeous in person(if that's possible) Anyhoo, as a die-hard Poets fan I just wanted to say in response to those of you chatting about it on here. I heard they might reshoot the "band" portion of the video and still put it out. basically the same thing, but with a different band line-up playing. I geuss they're releasing that song as a single next year. (They're releasing the album) So all is not lost you may all get to see it on a television near you soon....love, Mojo

Actually, I can confirm that Mojo is correct... there may, indeed, be a reshoot of the band portion of the video, which will allow for the use of the rest of the video. I think that's great news!By the way, to fans of the band, their album has been released as of today! -TR |
