"Rachael Leigh Cook is to star in romantic comedy My First Wedding, which starts shooting in Montreal next week. The actress said the film is "about the lengths that you'll go to for the person you love, and all the misadventures that will follow you". She compared the comedy to "a Billy Wilder movie, really off the wall. That's where my tastes have been lying recently, and I've just developed an affinity for the out of whack stuff. You know, everybody I really respect for their careers says these days, ‘I just want to do something different.’ And I hope to stay on that path."

Good news. However, we don't know where she'll
hang out, so I'll leave it at our gossip people
here...

And of course, I leave actors alone, they have
a job to do !

I had a feeling you would be excited about this one, Claude. Smile Who knows? Maybe you might even happen upon an outdoor location shoot sometime soon? Wink

I'm happy of course, however actors have a job
2 do, if I accidentally happen 2 C her in some way, I'll let U guys know...

However, as Montreal a discreet city, Rachael won't be stalked at all here and very much in safety, most of the studios are outside the downtown area and most of our security companies are top rated for drivers and temporary bodyguards. And of course, our citizens respect the privacy of stars (well almost... Halle Berry had a small incident with a stalker, but Halle's a big star...).

Back 2 my Mexican vacation...

To stay on topic with this thread, I had the news with the other message board by Jim Levesque, who works on movies here in Montreal.

The movie is directed by Laurent Firode, a French director who is known for directing Audrey Tautou (Amelie) in a movie called Happenstance...

That's the trivia 4 2-day. Type 2 ya later ! Wink

I've got some more info on cast and crew. The male lead is apparently an actor named Kenny Doughty. Young fellow, most recent role playing Andie McDowell's love interest in Crush.

The producers have done some romantic comedies before, should be good. I've already sent the info to the Z review as they broke the story for us.

Producers: Joan Carr-Wiggin (Honeymoon,Sleeping with Strangers)
and David Gordian (Honeymoon)

Director of Photography: Vernon Layton BSC (I Still Know What You Did Last Summer,The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill But Came Down A Mountain)

Production Company: Buccaneer Films

Rachael: I mean, my vice is refined sugar.
Bill: Your vice, yes. Because it give you energy?
Rachael: No, I just really like it.

Uzi does it, Samson. The Second Amendment is for the individual right to keep and bear arms including Class Three weapons (silencers, machine guns) by lawful owners who've passed federal background checks. Free speech, expression of religion, peaceful assembly, and free press are all covered by the First Amendment, guaranteeing that punsters will never be punished. One can groan at a pun, moan at a pun, laugh at a pun, or make threats against the punster for failure to hold one's tongue, which is made easy with the right cutting utensil, of course. And in accordance to the ethics code of the punster, one must surrender their Fifth Amendment right to remain silent.

Maybe this will all come out in Rachael's next movie...
