"Cam Gigandet (NEVER BACK DOWN), Shane West (A WALK TO REMEMBER) and Rachael Leigh Cook have joined the cast of KEROSENE COWBOYS, an action thriller directed by Mario Van Peebles. Based on a novel by Randy Arrington, the tale follows the rough-riding and hard-living pilots of an elite Navy attack squadron. Gigandet will star as a hot-shot pilot, West plays his one-time best friend-turned-nemesis, while Cook will play an investigative journalist and Gigandet's love interest."

Rachael,

I am Randy Arrington, author of the "Kerosene Cowboys" series of novels. Great to hear that you are going to star as ‘Karen Marcus’ in "Kerosene Cowboys" the movie. You are a talented actress and will prove to be a fantastic Leading Lady in the film.

The character that Rachael will be playing ('Karen Marcus') is the incredibly beautiful, highly intelligent, "Leading Lady" in the storyline. She is torn between two handsome guys that she simply adores. Both men are dashing young Navy Fighter Pilots and best friends. But she met and fell in love with one of them before meeting the other. As is often the case in real life, adverse circumstances compel her to break up with the first man then later fall into the open and receptive arms of the second. I hope you enjoy old-fashioned romance superbly intertwined within a snarled web of fast-paced, aviation action. It’s going to be a tremendously exciting and highly entertaining roller-coaster ride of a movie.

Yes I am, but we haven't stated principle photography yet. Soon! If you can, pick up a copy of the novel. You will enjoy the read.

If you can, get me a date with Rachael Razz

I'm looking forward to the movie so much. If you believe the IMDB budget reports ($25M for this movie).. it's the largest production she has been a lead in since Josie & The Pussycats.

Hopefully a sign of things to come!

The total budget for "Kerosene Cowboys" is much much larger than a mere $25 Million Bucks.

That's even better news. I didn't think you could get much done with airplane battle with that number. I hope the screenplay adaptation gives her a lot of screen time.

Keep us updated.
